Before and After School for ages 6 through 12 years with drop-off and pick-up at neighboring schools (includes full time care during Public School Holidays). Open Enrollment for our Summer and Fall begins each March (call for more details).
We fill open spaces on a first come/first serve basis and review of recommendation letters from previous care givers. The registration and book fees are due at the time the application is submitted and will be refunded if admission is denied.
We do not discriminate against race, color, creed, religion, handicap or national origin. We are committed to serving all of the disabled children we can without fundamentally altering the nature of the service we provide - group child care.

School Schedule
Pierce Private Day School is open from 6:45 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, year round. Private school
academic terms coincide with the Coppell Public Schools calendar. A full-day school-age summer program
is offered during the summer.
Our school is closed for the following Holidays: New Year's Day, Good Friday, July 4th, Memorial Day,
Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after, and two days at Christmas (usually Christmas Eve and
Christmas Day). We close early on New Year's Eve. Full tuition is still charged during these weeks.
Behavior Management
At Pierce Private Day School, we want children to express themselves freely and honestly without fear of
rejection or ridicule. Because each child is unique, temperaments and behavior will vary and so we try to
promote pro-social behavior within the framework of each child's own personality by encouragement and
modeling. However, when a child openly defies an adult caregiver or his/her actions could lead to an injury
to self or others, the following steps of discipline are taken:
1.) verbal warning and an attempt to redirect behavior positively
2.) "time out" away from the other children, while remaining in the class-
room in order to "think about" their behavior.
3.) visit to administrator's office for conference
4.) conference with parents
The primary goal of discipline is to encourage children to respect other people and to
become a responsible, constructive citizen by developing self-discipline. Children who
are consistently disruptive in class will be asked to withdraw from our program.
